How Sorites handles your data
Sorites is a tool for reviewing your own business data. Your data is yours. We keep only what we need to run the service, and we never sell it.

In short
- On the Free plan, files you upload stay in the server's memory and are never saved. They are gone when your session ends.
- On paid plans, data is saved only in projects you choose to keep, and you can delete it at any time.
- Our logs never contain the values in your data.
- We use no analytics or advertising cookies, and we do not use your data to train AI models.
Who we are
Sorites is a product of Chronorisks. We are responsible for the personal data described here. Questions or requests: support@chronorisks.com.
When an organisation uploads data about other people (for example customers or suppliers), that organisation decides what the data is for and we process it on its behalf. A data processing agreement is available for paid plans on request.
What we collect

| Change history | Who changed which definition and when (the audit log on team plans). Never the values in your data. |
| Usage | Counts such as rows per table, storage and AI usage per organisation. To apply plan limits. |
| Billing | Your plan and subscription status. Payment is handled by Paddle; we never see your card number. |
| Server logs | Addresses, times and errors of requests. To keep the service secure and working. Logs never contain cell values. |
Cookies and browser storage
- sorites_auth: keeps you signed in. Needed for the service to work.
- The sign-in page sets its own cookies to complete sign-in.
- Your browser remembers small preferences, such as light or dark mode and your language.
There are no analytics, tracking or advertising cookies, so there is no cookie banner.
How long we keep it
- Free plan uploads: only for the session, in memory.
- Saved projects: until you delete them. Deleting a project removes its files and saved data.
- Your account: while it is active. Ask us and we will delete your account and, if you are its only owner, your organisation.
- Backups: deleted data leaves our backups when they expire.
Your rights
You can ask us to show, correct, export or delete the personal data we hold about you, or object to how we use it. Email support@chronorisks.com and we will reply within 30 days. If your data was uploaded by an organisation you deal with, contact that organisation first; we will help it answer you. You can also complain to your data protection authority.
Changes
If we change this page we update the date above. If a change affects how we use data you have already given us, we email account owners before it takes effect.
